Influence of microbial activity on mineral precipitation/dissolution and isotope composition
The objective of this research package is to elucidate the impact of microbial activity on the precipitation, dissolution and diagenesis of mineral proxies. In particular, isotopic signatures of this microbial activity will be investigated at the mineral scale.
Laboratory
The work will be carried out at the Institute of Earth's Surface Dynamics of the University of Lausanne, Switzerland.
